The Stubby Stack Weight Pin is the perfect combo for that pesky plateau when you want to keep the weight moving but want more bang for your buck. A great compliment to the Micro Stack Weight Pin, the Stubby Stack Weight Pin weighs in at 2.5lbs and can be utilized on a variety of equipment.

The Stubby Stack Weight Pin is a 2.5lb adder weight that has our patent pending design and application with the signature 6-shooter style magnets that you can apply to a cable stack, Olympic plates and dumbbells, allowing for a wide range of uses. Using the Stubby Stack on a cable stack and need to add a quick change plate? It can hold between 5-10lbs for a quick addition of weight.

The magnets on this are not strong enough to securely attach to items with any type of material between the item and the stack weight pin. i.e kabuki strength kyubell sticker. These weight pins are very bulky and protrude a good distance on the item you attach them to. This makes them unusable on my powerblocks to do weight jumps for chest flys or dumbbell pressing since it will get knocked off on your knees or break the magnetic grip and then pinch your skin on your thigh.... ouch. I am very disappointed that they do not attach like they are shown in the sales pic where the selector pin goes on the powerblocks. The design of the magnets and weight does not allow the stack weight pin to grab and hold. I will not be buying any more weight pins. I really tried my best to love this product. I was very excited initially and ordered two pairs which cost wise added up quite a bit. They now are only used on my rack to hold my fractional weight plates. Unless these design flaws are addressed and the overall design is improved, I recommend the plate mates over them. With the functional negatives out of the way. The positives are that they look fantastic and the care that was taken for packing and shipping was very much appreciated. I will continue to look to buy other products from Bare steel just none of their current iterations of weight pins.
Use these to bridge the gap on a new functional trainer. Exceptional quality. Work very well and strong magnets. Satisfying when they snap into place. Highly recommend.

I own multiple machines from different brands and pin holes for adjustments. These magnetic weight pins can work all my various machines without having to buy proprietary weight additions. Just snap on and off no problem. Being able to add weight to the pins was not something I thought I would do but find it very useful! Wish they could come in a 5lb XL stubby lol .
Decided to get 2 sets of the 1.25s and 2 sets of the 2.5s to put on the INSIDE or outside of my adjustable dumbbells. Not a fan of extra long dumbbells so these keep the additional weight closer to my wrists. Very strong as well. Worth every penny.
