The Marrs-Bar is one of the best specialty squat bars on the market. Created by Zac Marrs, it was meant to help people who struggle with injuries and straight bar squats. Some Improvements that have been made:

Just a heads up on a few details concerning the MARRS-BAR.

We have begun using a multi-ply box to ship the bars rather than our original pallet system. The box will offer much greater protection and reduce the standard shipping rates.

The yokes - or sleeves originally were coated with black oxide, but now will be produced coated in the black zinc. The black zinc offers improved protection, without increasing the price of the bar.

The padding was improved as well last January. Our original memory foam is 5 stars above the standard padding typically used, but it wasn't made for the bar and had limitations. The technology for the transition wasn't available when we began. We are currently working on "replacement" padding that will available for future needs and is simply installed.

Thank you for bearing with us and me. The original Frankenstein MARRS-BAR humbly sat in my gym, since 2003 - specially equipped with a $3 spray paint coating, duct tape and whatever parts I could scavenge. There is no other bar like it on the planet and there were also no parts or tools to mass produce it either. It's been a process to protect the MARRS-BARs one of a kind physics and comfort - and then solve the obstacles of mass production. Every solution seems to create another problem ... and so fourth (Trail and Error).
