Bare Steel is susceptible to rust, so if you have any concern of rusting in your training environment, we recommend you upgrade to Cerakote or Hard Chrome. In the long run, it’s a well worthy investment.
Bare Steel products cannot be returned due to rust. While we take every step to ensure a Bare Steel item arrives in mint condition, the elements may still play a role in light rust formation. Most of the time, this is simple surface/flash rust that can be removed with a light wool padding and oil/silicone spray. We will return items based on manufacturing defects or reasons stated in the return policy.

Power pegs are so well made. You may think it just a peg (no big deal) but you have to hold them and feel the quality and heft. The magnets mean they don’t rotate and beat up your rack finish. Highly recommend.
These pins are perfect when it comes to build quality. My only gripe is with the magnets, which are so strong that they make it quite hard to detach the pegs from my Rogue Monster Lite rack. My partner is not able to use them for this reason when she exercises. I understand this magnet strength probably makes the pegs safer to use under heavier load but for the price the experience should be flawless, which is why I’m giving “only” 4 stars.
Product suggestion: Make identical pegs with weaker magnets for lighter use-cases, or add some kind of quick-release mechanism that helps with detaching the pegs from a rack.
