Excellent power pin. Great magnetic strength. I use it in my vendetta extensions on my jammer arms. They fit just fine with a little overhang. They also work great for other accesories such as my dip bar. I also really like the black skull graphic on the front. I enjoy the big head on the pin because you need a good grip to pull the pin. The magnets are strong. I highly recommend them. I may purchase another pair and get rid of all my tractor indent pins.
These mag pins are extremely overbuilt, to the point that I don't even know if they're necessary for a home gym. The magnets are very, very strong. They're strong to the point where I don't think they need to be that strong lol. These might seem like pros, but to me they were cons. The head of the pin is also wayyyyyy too big as mentioned in another review. My biggest pet peeve with these mag pins is the flat tip. When working with various attachments on my rack, which is a Rogue Monster with 1" holes...I just find that these don't go in without me having to "find the hole." As far as I know, the only company on the market who sells the perfect mag pin would be oak club manufacturing. It's the perfect size, and the tips are rounded off. Sliding those things through attachments into the uprights is nothing but a breeze. Hopefully Bare Steel will come out with a mag pin 2.0 with slightly better features. I will say tho, that for the price, you're getting more bang for your buck with these compared to oak club, just based off the fact that you get 6 magnets I think, and a much bigger head....so you literally get more...because they're priced very similarly. But I decided to sell these mag pins and I bought more oak club.
I'll still continue to buy here because I love what this company is doing. Made in the USA and making premium stuff. I love that they work with govx for veteran discounts also.
Head is too big
I’ve been testing the 1” Powerpin for weeks now & It’s one of the most solid items in my home gym, it’s a quick & easy installation, the magnets will make you work but a slight bump & pull motion & they pop out easy.
It’s one solid piece of beautifully made steel with a decal that commands respect. Plan to replace all my hitch pins with this guy. Highly recommend!
