I ordered the Iron Skull Power Bar with the black cerakote shaft and chrome sleeves. It arrived with the black cerakote sleeves. The owner admitted they made a mistake and offer to send me replacement chrome sleeves but I asked to return the bar expecting a new bar. I had watched a video of a YouTube user that had removed the sleeve and he complained about the difficulty of removing the snap spring/ring. Using a screwdriver, it looked like he was doing damage to the end of the sleeve and end cap. Long story short, the owner replaced the chrome sleeves and returned the same bar to me. When I unboxed it, the chrome at the end was rough and damaged enough to cut your hand in several spots. I attribute that to the swapping out of the replacement chrome sleeves. Not a good experience for a highly rated power bar.
Customer returned bar to us and we installed brand new chrome sleeves to correct initial error. Endcap protectors as well as wrapping was applied to bar to protect entire bar, but it sounds like there was shipping damage that was applied during transit. Customer did not inform/communicate to us of any damage as bar was in perfect condition upon leaving. We would have been happy to apply a shipping claim if bar was received damaged.
I initially received a Blue Collar Bar by mistake. Shawn apologized and immediately set things right. I received my Iron Skull Bar in no time flat. The bar is amazing. Cerakote was perfect and the knurling is aggressively just right. Product greatly exceeded my expectations and their Customer Service is excellent. Plus they take care of us Veterans.
Been using bar now for 2 weeks. It’s everything I hoped for. Very happy with product and price.
Read and watched several reviews before purchasing the Iron Skull PB. I expected it to be a solid bar at a great price. It has surpassed my expectations and has been my daily driver since I received it. Great knurl. Great bar.
I own all 3 of them in different finishes. My favorite is the Iron Skull Power Bar in Black cerakote. It the most aggressive one I have found with these specs and at this price point. I prefer an aggressive knurling. It’s currently my favorite power bar and my Daily driver for all my main lifts SBD and OHP
